Made from volcanic rocks such as natural basalt and diabase. Raw materials are melted at temperature above 1450℃, then turned into inorganic mineral fibers by high‑speed centrifugal spinning. With special binder and dust‑proof oil added, rock wool products are finished through cotton collection, pendulum layering, curing and cutting processes.
Class‑B fire‑retardant inorganic mineral insulation material. Hardly combustible with low toxic‑smoke emission under high‑temperature conditions. Features outstanding thermal insulation, sound absorption and fire‑resistance. Stable chemical property, excellent aging resistance, corrosion resistance, water‑repellent & moisture‑proof performance, anti‑mildew with long‑term stable physical‑chemical performance. Main component: basalt mineral fibers, cured with organic binder and water‑repellent agent. Single‑side or double‑side lamination available with finishing layers including fiberglass cloth, aluminum foil and fiberglass felt. Processable into rock wool board, rock wool strip, rock wool blanket and rock wool pipe shell.
